Bergina Isbell, MD
Bergina Isbell, MD is a Board Certified Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins trained Psychiatrist, speaker, and author. She specializes in the care of patients with history of trauma and Special Needs, including those on the Autism Spectrum. She is the Founder and Chief Medical Officer of Led Life LLC, a psychiatry service that provides mental health care in person and virtually via a telehealth platform.
The vision of Led Life is to help others “grow in grace.” As a practicing psychiatrist, Dr. Bergina is experienced in listening to her patients without labeling them. She provides care for the whole person and helps patients make informed decisions about their life choices in a welcoming and confidential manner. Dr. Bergina holds both a Bachelor’s of Arts and Master’s of Health Science in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, respectively and has trained at both University of Maryland College of Medicine and Eastern Virginia Medical School resulting in her Doctorate of Medicine.
She completed her psychiatry residency training at the world famous Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Prior to starting Led Life, LLC she served as a Community Psychiatrist with the non-profit Unity Health Care where she provided mental health care and both individual and group therapy for several Federally Qualified Community Health Centers, several homeless shelters, and those incarcerated at the Department of Corrections in Washington, DC. She provides life coaching through Growing in Grace, LLC, a Life Coaching service. She serves as a consultant and coach for those overcoming life’s challenges.
