Brittany Albright, MD, MPH, is a double board-certified adult and addiction psychiatrist and the solo owner/founder of Sweetgrass Psychiatry, the largest physician-owned psychiatry practice in South Carolina. A leader in innovative psychiatric care, she is dedicated to expanding access to evidence-based, patient-centered mental health services.

Dr. Albright earned her undergraduate degree from Emory University before obtaining her medical and public health degrees from the University of New Mexico, where she graduated in the top 25% of her class. She completed her psychiatry residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, both affiliated with Harvard Medical School, followed by a fellowship in addiction psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina.

A recognized thought leader in psychiatry, Dr. Albright opened the first Spravato treatment center in the Southeast and her practice has completed over 10,000 esketamine and ketamine treatments. She is certified in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation. She assisted with ADHD clinical trails at Massachusetts General Hospital and addiction research at the University of New Mexico and has published over 20 abstracts and 15 peer-reviewed manuscripts. She is a sought-after national speaker and consultant, known for her expertise in treatment-resistant depression, addiction psychiatry, and the integration of emerging and interventional therapies in clinical practice. At Sweetgrass Psychiatry, she has developed a multidisciplinary approach that combines cutting-edge psychopharmacology, primary care collaboration, and holistic treatment strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
