Jimmy Qian, MS
Jimmy co-founded Osmind with the aim to transform mental health care and research through technology and data. As President, he currently focuses on expanding Osmind's psychiatry Learning Health System, which breaks down the barriers between research and real-world care.
Jimmy left the MD program at the Stanford University School of Medicine to co-found Osmind because he believed psychiatry was at an inflection point. With the growth of the interventional psychiatry subspecialty (including major clinical and scientific advances in psychedelic medicine and neuromodulation), the progress in precision psychiatry research, and the excitement around biological psychiatry and novel mechanisms of action for therapeutics development, the timing was critical for Osmind to exist to be the connective tissue helping psychiatrists, researchers, and payers drive better patient outcomes and access.
Jimmy has been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, among other awards and fellowships. He holds a M.S. in Biomedical Data Science from Stanford University. He graduated summa cum laude with Masters and Bachelors degrees in Biophysics, Biochemistry, and Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, where he received multiple awards and was a Vagelos Scholar in the Molecular Life Sciences -- the program founded by former Merck CEO and Regeneron Chairman Dr. P. Roy Vagelos.
