Pullara

, MD

Owner and Co-Founder at InnerVision Psychiatry

Dr. Pullara is a practicing psychiatrist and owner of InnerVision Psychiatry. He was born and raised in Lutz, FL. He completed his undergraduate degree in biological sciences at Florida State University. He then went on to attend medical school in St. Maarten at the American University of the Caribbean.

His clinical studies gave him experience in various healthcare settings across four US states as well as all the way to the United Kingdom. He completed his adult psychiatry residency at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, MO.

During residency, Dr. Pullara helped co-found a medical journal with his residency colleagues titled “The Journal of Psychedelic Psychiatry (ISSN: 2690-0912).” Dr. Pullara was appointed deputy editor and still serves in this role while the journal continues to publish articles quarterly.

After residency, Dr. Pullara returned to sunny Florida and passed the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology certification examination to become board-certified. He took a position at Lakeland Regional Hospital as an inpatient psychiatrist, where he later met his co-founder, Dr. Chamakalayil. Together they bonded over a passion for psychedelic psychiatry.

Dr. Pullara’s passion for psychedelic psychiatry is unmatched in the community. He hopes that opening a psychiatrist led IV ketamine clinic in Wesley Chapel is just the beginning for patients struggling with major depression, anxiety, and PTSD to rewrite their story. He has been very in tune with the ongoing research and FDA clinical trials with MDMA, psilocin, LSD, and 5-MeO-DMT. His goal is to help alleviate the suffering of those in the community he grew up in through cutting-edge psychedelic treatments as they become approved by the FDA.
